Most of those would be the Amon Bundy bunch from Idaho. There's a significant push from the eastern part of Oregon to join with Idaho. Rural sections of blue states are feeling stifled and looking for ways out. Oregon is the most active that I'm aware of so far. Part of the fallout of the extreme polarization leaving a lot of folks on both sides feeling unrepresented. We really need to fix that. It didn't use to be like this. Back when compromise was not a dirty word but the way adults got along.

I've spent the last 11 years in the Raleigh area. It's not "everywhere" in the suburbs. Are they there? Yes. Is it even close to as prevalent as you're making it out to be? Not even close. Now, when you get 5-10 minutes outside of the suburbs, that's a different story.

I will add that there's a really special person in Durham who has Trump, Confederate Battle Flag, Russian, Nazi, and Israel flags all hanging on their porch. The Nazi and Israel flags are next to each other, which is hilarious to me.

Even in the sticks down there it’s not near as prevalent as he makes it seem. I spent a lot of time with the hillbillies during my time there and I’ll still maintain I’ve seen more Dixie flags in the Midwest and Central CA

ive seen many in central ca…all over oregon outside of portland…but not a ton in the deep south…

Yeah, I CONSTANTLY hear this shit from Lost Cause people from the south online.  “It’s a myth that the south is more racist.”   lol, fucking bullshit.  We don’t have confederate general statues anywhere in Oregon.   We’re not targeting minorities for gerrymandering in California or Washington.  They are in Alabama.   We’re not shoving voter ID down people’s throats (as a successor to poll taxes) in the north like they are in the south.   And if anyone did a scientific study, I’m sure as shit not believing it would come out with more confederate flags in Oregon than Georgia or South Carolina or Alabama.
