I dont think the MWC not extending the scheduing agreement would have changed this landing spot for the PAC. Theyve been doing homework and feel this is the best move for themselves longterm....lots of times peeps make mistakes so to be seen.

Most likely? Sure. But it’s very obvious they aren’t the top choices, otherwise the breaking news would be 6 MWC schools joining the Pac, not 4.

If they're going to discuss adding schools with these 4 incoming members I actually could see Hawaii FB only + Gonzaga, SDSU will want Basketball to be good. Means both Nevadas may also get the call, bare minimum UNLV will I don't see them leaving Vegas out of the equation.

Wouldn't Hawaii be cheaper to get due to being Football only? Pair them with Gonzaga Basketball, plus UTSA and UNT. That would give you a Conference with 9 football and 9 full time members ensuring 8 Conference games for Football.

When I mentioned to Nevarez that Gould had that $65 million set aside, she said: “That’s enough for six of our schools.”

Pro’s: Fresno and WSU have a long history, I like being with other State Schools allowed to offer Doctoral degrees,  we get to play Boise and SDSU every year which draws crowds, depends what happens but could be best of the rest   

Cons: Miss playing Hawaii, SJSU, Nevada and hated the move to non divisions, some teams Stadiums and attendance were pretty bad, don’t have to worry about Laramie in Nov, could spend money just to ultimately be the WAC 3.0.  
 

at the end of the day don’t really have a choice. The optics of not moving up with the other 3 are too negative and would kill fan attendance.

Losing Gloria as commissioner will be loss for any schools that leave the MtnWest.

I bought season tickets for both UNLV football and basketball because I believed in the future of athletics. At the moment, I feel like a fool. There is no reason for UNLV to be left behind in realignment. It is a joke if it is the case.
