BSUTOP25 Posted September 12 Posted September 12 As long as CSU pays for Boise’s exit fees, I’d be okay with it. 4 1 2
Packman04 Posted September 12 Posted September 12 well shit, i was hoping the MW would stay together but isn’t looking good 1 1
retrofade Posted September 12 Posted September 12 They should only invite "State" schools... Washington State Oregon State Fresno State Boise State San Diego State Colorado State I mean, Florida State is looking for a new conference, and we need some easy wins....... 1 6
An Admirer from the East Posted September 12 Posted September 12 they need to get to 8. are UTSA and Memphis next? I a little surprised UNLV (Vegas is Vegas) or AFA (prestiege) arent being invited. 1
mugtang Posted September 12 Posted September 12 I don’t get why you’d spend $111 million to join a G5 league but ok. 🤷♂️ Side note I suppose I’m rebranding this site back to the PAC12 board lol 9 2 3

NorCalCoug Posted September 12 Posted September 12 Congrats…. SDSU is finally getting that PAC invite!!! 1 16
Soupslam Posted September 12 Posted September 12 Lots of reports on this happening. It’ll put the PAC at the top of the G5 and the west, but as a Boise State fan I hate leaving some MWC schools behind as they’ve been good rivals for a long time. I suspect we’ll see some suits come out of this. The MWC will get a good chunk of change from those schools leaving. 2

I don’t think the NSHE wants the two Nevada schools to be separated so if they want UNLV they may be forced to take Nevada also. Probably the hold up and why UNLV wasn’t included just yet. 2
An Admirer from the East Posted September 12 Posted September 12 recall when the Big East began needing to back fill some years ago they kept taking from CUSA before long almost all of the Big East (now American) were CUSA schools just with a new name and millions of dollars later. This is a lil different for now but over time the PAC 12 could just evolve into the MWC, millions later. 2

Bison Posted September 12 Posted September 12 Plenty of time to get to 8. June 30, 2025 would be a deadline to keep in mind. j 3
