Can somebody remind what the GOP's stance was on Russia just 20 maybe 30 years ago?

Thanks

The Obama and Romney debate in 2012 comes to mind and it was a mere decade ago.

No, it wasn't nominated for an Oscar (unless you count Makeup).  Glenn Close was.  And his point was really clear about viewership....and wrong.  But its not unusual to exaggerate to try and score political points.  Politicians do it all the time.

Yes, Glenn Close was nominated...for her role in the movie...and I'm not sure why you wouldn't count Hair and Makeup. If you're going to go to the trouble of disassociating Glenn Close's nomination in the movie, then why pretend that the actual Oscar nomination isn't for the movie? Either way, it was getting a lot of Oscar buzz leading up to the Oscars. But all of that is neither here nor there as viewership was NOT his point...his point was, as he clearly said in the sentence before he mentioned viewership on Netflix, "I think many people are familiar with his family". THAT is really what his point was about and the Netflix comment was a supporting (albeit incorrect) point.

So hand out your facepalm reaction and quit wasting my time.
