azgreg Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 Can somebody remind what the GOP's stance was on Russia just 20 maybe 30 years ago? Thanks Quote

Of course the mainstream media wouldn't want you to know that and the question is who has the lower ratings? Biden or the mainstream media? You have missed articles and reporting. There's plenty. Or something. It’s really complicated. 1 Quote

I really don’t have any doubt that all the people you named think we will be better off with President Trump than President Biden. You seem to be missing the central point (willfully I suspect). All of those people mentioned - including Vance - did a major flip-flop on Trump. The worst of them being Cruz (although Tim Scott was rather comical about it). The most disappointing is Haley, who seemed to be showing some backbone there for a while. They're all switched to kissing Trump's ass because Trump has a stranglehold on the entire party. And they all did it for roughly the same reason - they want to run for the Presidency and they'll need Trump's blessing to get anywhere. This is not a new political story. The depths to which they do it is new, though. Harris is in that arena, too, although not quite as virulent as Cruz and Vance. 1 Quote

Whether it made the top 25 of Netflix for that year, I think it's safe to say that it had a sizable audience on several levels. I believe that was the point he was trying to make. 1 Quote

No, it wasn't nominated for an Oscar (unless you count Makeup). Glenn Close was. And his point was really clear about viewership....and wrong. But its not unusual to exaggerate to try and score political points. Politicians do it all the time. Quote
