Trump’s future is bright. Has he been an as$? Yes, but he has changed. Saturday established him as a leader, will go down as one of the best Presidents. I expect some uncivil servants to be jumping off the ship soon.

I’d reckon. If special prosecutors can see their cases decapitated like this, it’ll gum up the system.  I guess I never saw the problem with JS’ appointment, it’s been a routine practice forever.

I figured it was headed towards appeal regardless, though, given the state of play lately. I don’t know that the majority of SCOTUS would rule Trump’s way either, especially given the Nixon decision was unanimous…those tend to not be disturbed.

We will see if he has changed or not. He is certainly holier now.

I said is vs was a strong case.  I don’t think this is over but it certainly buys more time for Teflon Don.

Garland can appeal to the 11th circuit who've already shown previously they are not fans of Cannon's rulings.  That will likely end up in the SC.  More likely they will re-file the case with another judge/venue, likely DC.

Her opinion closely tracked the reasoning outlined by conservative Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas in a recent concurrence in a separate case against Trump.

Well that seals it. Any judicial opinion which mirrors the brilliant, thoroughly-objective mind of Clarence Thomas should be "immune" from criticism.

It was the strongest of all the cases.  Cannon's technical decision not only pissed off the Democrats, but also the independents.  In my view she doesn't deserve the title Judge before her name.
