There’s a scene in the movie Fury at the beginning of the movie where Brad Pitt is kicking a simpleton named “Coon Ass” the mechanic of the tank.  Coon Ass screams back at him saying, “Why you always whooping on me?”

Pitt replies back: “Because you’re an animal, a dog. All you understand is the fist and the boot.”

Convert reminds me a lot of Coon Ass.  Throwing him complexities, alternate view points or anything requiring simple logic and math is a fool’s errand. 
 

Sometimes, all these folks understand is the fist and boot.  This clip shows how simple minds like Convert’s works. The guy telling the newbie how the gun works is Coon Ass.

I should clarify here.  I like Convert.  If I didn't, I would just keep him on ignore permanently.  I do take extended breaks from him. Connie is dishonest, prone to misattribution, often confused, and kind of an ass quite frequently.  But, I think he has an eccentric charm.  He even comes up w/some good takes at times.  His field goal % isn't great, and not it's not even a good batting average, but he has moments.  Dunking on him and trolling his too seriousness is cheap entertainment, but I wouldn't do it if I had any real animosity.

This place wouldn’t be the same without him. I find him entertaining lulz…he’s a good dude who marches to the beat of his own off kilter drummer lulz.
