I've gotten big in to NBA 2K lately I played it many years ago and was just ok about it. Full disclosure I'm not the biggest NBA fan but I like the game. It's solid and the AI technology or whatever they use during the game to discuss current things is incredible. It's quite possibly the best sports game I've ever played

We should set up a WCS dynasty league (if you can do such a thing)

I'd be down for that

The 512GB Lenovo Legion Go is on sale for $500 at Best Buy and possibly other stores.  The ROG Ally Z1 (non extreme) usually retails for $400-500 which makes this purchase a no-brainer.  That’s going to be the last gaming hardware I buy for quite sometime (next decade).

I did install the Halo MCC collection and should be fun playing that game on the go.  Also installed the Ys X Nordics demo on Steam and it runs good on that thing.  I have my RTX 3060 laptop for more higher end games so I’m going to focus more on indie titles and boomer shooters which could be fun to use with the right detachable controller.

Given the recent announcement of the new AMD Z2 APUs, you can expect some nice Black Friday deals on those pc gaming handhelds.

If EA Sports CFB ends up on the PC, I’m done buying consoles.

I've been having this playlist on repeat while I grade and work on my school stuff. So many great memories with these games.

My wife is a huge Dragon Age fan so she got Veilguard to play while she's at home with the baby.

If she likes big chests and elves, she should prepare to be disappointed. They get flat to maybe A-Cups.

That said; I've heard reviews both positive and negative. Overall, I've heard its an ok game, but a bad Dragon Age game. What that means, not sure. But that's from gamers who have loved the series up to this point.

Dragon age franchise has 1 great game, 1 ok game, and 1 terrible game.

Now my dilemma is buy a 7800x3d PC now? Or wait a bit for the 9800x3d for future proofing 🤔

I'd say to hold off.

I haven't decided if I want the 9800x3D or if I want to go full out and get a 9 series instead.

Well I'm starting to realize I might not have much of a choice. Parts are less common here and a lot more expensive. I might have to settle.

Oh yeah, I hadn't thought about that part. I remember hearing all about issues some Australian friends of mine would have getting components for their computers back in the 00s on a forum I ran. The 7800x3D is still a damn good chip at least.

In retrospect, I probably should have purchased a higher end machine before moving here. I'm paying almost 33% more for a step lower GPU and who knows when theyll get it in from their supplier. Probably save a little money if I built it myself, but don't feel like dealing with that stress again.

I just played a marathon the show 24 with my 16 year old.  Not sure what was better, the time with him having fun or his validation “you worked those guys”.

need to set more time together for that (I typically get murdered 30,000 times with all the other stuff)

Too late. Made my final answer. Think I'll be good for awhile and I can easily upgrade the GPU in 3-4 years. Either way, it's going to be an awesome improvement from my GTX1080 + i5 8400 :)

Anybody else get on to Flight Sim 24 yet

I've watched others play it, not my kind of game.
