Upgraded my PC today. RTX 4070 Super is mid level by current standards but is a massive improvement over what I had.

Frame rates are plentiful now

Nice!

I got a 4070 Ti last summer/fall, and man, it is a huge upgrade from the 1660 I was running previously.

Didn't know that one was free to play in beta...might have to check that one out.

I got College Bowl for Steam (college version of Legend Bowl) and I am enjoying it so far.

Nice. That's what I'm aiming for (or the 4070 ti) for my next build. Still running a 1080 right now.

Have a RTX 3060 mobile gpu in my gaming laptop and TechPowerUp has that one on par with what you have.  I haven't run into a game that gives it problems and I think of that thing as a mobile Xbox Series S console.

Those RTX 4000 cards should be cheaper when the RTX 5000 cards come out next year since they will be next gen gpus with GDDR7 memory.  While the FTC testimonies related with the Microsoft-Activision deal revealed that the next gen consoles are not due until 2028, it's possible Microsoft launches the next gen Xbox as soon as 2026.

The “new” Paper Mario they re-did is pretty fun. Gameplay is easy, but the dialogue is top notch.

And they just announced another Mario & Lugui game.

Shadow of the Erdtree review roundup: 'Recaptures all of the magic of playing Elden Ring for the first time'

I'm a bit depressed I won't be able to play this for awhile. Absolutely loved the original game - one of my favorite games of all time. However, my PC is in a shipping container to Aukland and I won't be settled for a few more months. I guess I don't have time to play a huge game now anyways, but damn does this look good.

What's wrong with getting a gaming handheld such as the ROG Ally, Legion Go, MSI Claw, or the Steam Deck?

I think I need the full experience with a game like Elden ring. Badass monitor 1440 res at 60 fps, surround sound, etc. I have used my brother in laws basic computer for smaller games like animal well, but was a full PC experience for Shadow of tue Erdtree.

Great to see Ralphie in the game plus all those turnover props.

What really struck me was that FBS newcomer Kennesaw State has their stadium in the game so every FBS stadium should be in the game.

So stoked for this game and if you notice I'm not around this place much next month, I'm probably playing the game!

Hoping you’ll be able to take a team from the FCS and get them into FBS, but also allow them to expand seating, etc.

There is a rumor of a FCS DLC later on this year.  Fingers crossed.

So effing amped for this game. I can't tell you how many hundreds of hours I've sunk into college football games over the years, but it's a lot.

I would not want to know how many thousands of hours I have poured into the series since NCAA Football 1998 on the PS1 and getting a game every year.

At least I am going to not be buying as many games as I used to for sure.

You get to hire and fire coaches now? Actual diverse talent trees instead of just maxing things out?

Man, I didn't think I could get more hyped than I was already.
