utenation Posted June 17 Posted June 17 @Joe from Wyo you mentioned the Oquirrh Mountains earlier. This pic is from the Oquirrhs. Very underrated location. People naturally go to the Wasatch Range. This is off the Butterfield Canyon Road which goes all the way to Tooele. There were more than a few murders in this canyon, abandoned suspicious vehicles etc which scares some people away. They quit letting people camp in this area for those reasons. So there really isn't much traffic other than tourists looking to go look down inside Kennecott Copper mine. I see 10X the amount of wildlife here than anywhere else near the valley. 2 1

It would be cool if someone has some Western Ghost/Mining towns, The Pacific Coast Highway and Northwest, Redwoods, more European/Asian Castles, jungles, Rust belt grunge, Civil War hot spots. Ghost Towns are on my list this summer. I'm also headed to a lake by Skin Walker Ranch. 2

I used to wheel in these hills in high school. The rich figured out it was in the mountains and has a great view of the valley. But I'll take your advice and not show the pics your hot mistress by the pool. 1
