Next week is going to be the 4th of July weekend then after that, it will be Big 12 Football Media Days in Las Vegas (July 9-10).  After that, it will be the launch of EA Sports College Football 25 (July 16 for Deluxe & Heisman and July 19 for Standard).

You are so predictable. Lol. All the hype and excitement in preseason. Media days. New gear, new hats, renewed vigor. “Prime” asking everyone if they believe.  Then after about 5-6 losses, you burn all that gear, throw your hat in the dirt and announce you’re done being a CU fan for good.  No more posting.

Not sure if you remember or not( you might have ran for the hills already) but I was so confident CU would self destruct last year that I made a bold bet(hat) with @Buff_Fan that CU would lose their next 5 games in a row. I think it’s hard to lose 5 in a row. CU even lost to terrible teams in this stretch. CU out did themselves and lost their last 6. 

You two kept telling me in pre season I was just a hater and had no clue of what I was talking about. Buff fan was a great sport and paid up. I have a nice hat now. 

I’ll also stick with my Ray Bans. So I think I’m all set on new gear.  lol.

I just hope we can keep @PAC MAN around for a full season.  Every year for the last decade around October, he disappears for some reason. Sometimes mid September. 

If I had a nickel for every time he's told us CU was going bowling or would be P12 champs, I could have retired in 2018.

CU Buffs opponent preview: Re-loaded UCF could be contender in Big 12 – BuffZone

The Boulder fishwrap is previewing CU's opponents this year and today it's UCF.  That UCF running game could be tough to stop with KJ Jefferson at QB (the former big Arky QB who can run and complete long passes) since there is a returning 1,400 yd rusher and another 1,400 rusher who is transferring into the program.  

That trip to Orlando won't be easy for the Buffs (and anyone for that matter) and this snippet got my attention:

You realize UCF was 3-6 in conference last year right? And 2 of those wins were against last place Houston and Cincy. Both former AAC turds. The other was a fluke win over OSU, a team they would have lost to 9 of 10 times. 

Also, that mighty 39-6 home record the last 7 years was mostly against terrible AAC competition.  The accurate stat is how they do against B12 competition the next 7 years. 4-2 last year you say? Against powerhouses like Kent State, Villanova and Houston? LMAO. A good WVU team demolished UCF in Orlando. They also lost to a 3-9 Baylor team at home.

I'm wondering if that "writer" on "Buff Zone" even knows where to find stats. LOL

It’ll be hard for anyone in the quite deep Big 12 to make a run to the ccg, especially a team still adjusting to power conference football.  That said I wouldn’t overlook them day to day as they will probably be the top offense in the conference and no one can stop their running game, not even counting their QB who is a ? Imo.  Only reason they stunk last year was defensive depth and injuries, they very easily could’ve been 6-3 in conference instead of 3-6. Is their defense better this year? They had a lot of close road losses last year against good teams..

Also feel like WVU/ISU could be in the mix.  This conference is definitely going to be more interesting than the Big 10 this year.

And they could have easily lost to Boise and Houston last year as well. The would have/could have/should have stuff is overrated. You are what your record says you are.  Utah ended up being a very average to borderline bad team last year. It is what it is.
