I really hope Sanders is still standing by Nov 16th when we play.  Our defense is better this year and it was already good.  I see the pain train coming if he’s still on the field.

Unfortunately last year, Sanders was basically in the hospital from getting sacked 10,000 times before we played.

If he is still playing by November, make sure to have him wear his fancy “flex” watch.

Sanders was hit more than Whitney Houston last year. Their offensive line was garbage and I'm not sure it's any better this year.

Fear not, the offseason vids I have seen of Shedeur shows that he has bulked up so he should make it to the Utah game.

He got sacked too many times for sure and it was not all the OL's fault.  One of the arguments I get into with other CU fans about his draft stock is that I told them he wasn't a first rounder because he held onto the ball too many times.

That’s great. That he added 5 lbs. lol. Because he’s going to see about 2000 lbs of angry polynesians that dump truck what you call an OL.

That's a lot of leaking air at higher altitude.

You guys sacked Sanders 3 times in your game which is probably considered light for Sanders’ 2023 season.

We sacked his replacement 3 times with most of our starting D out.

I’m willing to bet that CU’s average sacks per game against them were more than their 2023 win total.

Maybe they’ll get that number below 4 this year?

I’m sure they’ll get it figured out with the 800 transfers Sanders brought in.

Doesn't include hits and knockdowns. That kid was hit a lot.

WVU is definitely being overlooked right now.  They were picked last in the conference in 2023. They found 9 wins.  I bet they'll be picked top 5 this season.

LOL..had to dig to find this thread...

I'll try not to be a homer here, but Arizona has a lot going for it right now. Fisch (the scumbag that he is) did a nice job bringing us back from the dead. The turnaround in culture was amazing. It's going to come down to how this coaching staff performs. They did a good job in recruiting the current players and from what I've seen the kids have really bought in to what the coaches are telling them. On the field it's going to come down to the line. It's going to be very hard to replace Jordan Morgan who was drafted by the Packers. I'm cautiously optimistic.

If you guys come out of KSU with a win, I'll start to really worry. I'm already glad we have AZ in SLC. We really don't lose there at all. Oregon last year was our first home loss in like 4 years and we had a shitty team with Bryson Banes.

I also think UNM will be improved. So that would make you 3-0 heading into Utah.

The only teams that worry me this year on our schedule are OSU and AZ. Iowa State could be interesting as well, but again, in SLC. Our schedule is pretty soft.

I like your prediction. 👍
