BYU had been winning big every game and UNLV...hadn't. The spread was only 7 points. Easy money, right? I came very close to placing a bet on my Cougars to cover. I was surprised and frustrated that BYU trailed for much of the game, including being down 28-31 late in the fourth quarter. On consecutive plays, Brandon Doman converted on 4th down with a 40-yard pass to Mike Rigell and then, on first down, rushed for a 22-yard touchdown and the lead. I was elated for the win and even more so because I didn't place the bet to cover. With as much of a sure thing as that bet seemed before the game, I learned not to bet on sporting events. What do you want the stakes to be?

What do you want the stakes to be? Hat or shirt. Straight up, no points. Since you guys are the big dogs with “scoreboard” and such.

I'm happy to hear about your hat preferences whenever you want to share. I'll be even happier, though, when my Cougars continue their recent dominance in the football series.

Bison Posted September 26 Author Posted September 26 B12 WBB schedule released. MBB schedule should be released shortly.
Bison Posted September 26 Author Posted September 26 CU is joining the Big 12 at perhaps the worst time as all starters are gone from last year's team plus a couple of contributors. I'd be happy with a .500 record this season.

BYU had a successful 2024 campaign, upgraded the overall talent of the team significantly, and is still picked to only finish 5th/6th. There are literally no easy conference games. The upside is that a .600 overall record puts you on the bubble.

Oklahoma State would be dead last due to new coach and heavy turnover via the portal. CU did nab the top player from the D2/NAIA ranks plus another good one from the D2 ranks. Tad Boyle did strike gold before by getting Derrick White (on the Celtics) from D2 CU Colorado Springs. I’m still expecting the worst CU MBB season since 2008 when they finished dead last in the original Big 12.

Bison Posted October 10 Author Posted October 10 https://big12sports.com/news/2024/10/9/big-12-mens-basketball-delivers-increased-linear-television-exposure.aspx Check your team's schedules since times & TV have been added. For CU MBB, 25 games on ESPN+, five on the ESPN channels, and one on CBSSN. For CU WBB, 24 games on ESPN+ and one on ESPNU. Not missing the old P12N at all in this case.
