I thought we were talking about their stadium.  Moving the goal posts again.  In case you havent figured it out yet, I dont play favorites.  Robe is the a target of mine quite regularly - because he deserves it.  Yet you get your panties in a twist at the 1st hint of blowback.  Sad.

Hmmm.  Last I checked Robe wanted my thoughts.  I gave them.  As I said, their fans are so depressed that they can’t play football anymore that they are now wearing BYU basketball logos all over town.

You don’t know anything about our rivalry. Maybe you should stick with Baylor insults?  But nobody nationally cares about that right?

BTW, you left us hanging on the other board. You laughed when I said BYU/Utah will be the best rivalry in the conference. You thought that was funny but couldn’t provide any other rivalry when about 5 people asked you. Ran for the hills.

To see losses. Impressive.  lol at you being a BYU apologist.😂

Anything is possible after the Lakers hung a banner for winning the first in-season tourney.

Ryan Smith and Kevin Young has turned BYU into a blue blood. Number 1 recruit from 2025 already has visited BYU. Number recruit for 2026 will visit BYU this year.

Just as placeholder and the Big 12 basketball schedule hasn't been announced yet but the SEC has the same number of conference games as the Big 12 and they just released theirs.

2024-25 SEC Men’s Basketball conference opponents announced - Southeastern Conference (secsports.com)

What I think this means for CU basketball is that the round robin games would be Kansas, Kansas State, and Oklahoma State since the AZ and UT schools would probably do round robins with each other.  That probably means the Texas schools will round robin each other and then Iowa State, UCF, UC, and WVU will round robin each other.  This might be just for one year as the new Big 12 media rights deal kicks in next year and there could be 20 conference games (currently at 18).

Buffaloes Add Danny Manning As An Assistant Coach - University of Colorado Athletics (cubuffs.com)

This was a good hire for Tad Boyle as the Buffs move back into their old stomping grounds.

Buffs could have three players drafted in next month's NBA Draft and it seems like the Buffs got some good & bigger bodies (necessity for the Big 12).  I think the Buffs will hover near the middle of the pack in the Big 12.

So now The PHX & The SLC are on the "West Coast?"

Where’s your "OT Sports” tag?

I'm sure the world is shaking in their boots at the thought of BYU's 1940 style basketball.

A little late to the party...this stuff was under a Big 12 section until everything was merged back.

Nah it's fun to ridicule the Lakers these days.

If it upsets you ( a CSU fan ) there is no reason you have to participate.

Not a BYU fan by any stretch of the imagination but they’re bringing in some very high quality players. Plus, they’ve now got an NBA guy coaching them.

The Big 12 better take notice. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them finish top three, and possibly even #1.

@Mano - I guess you were grandfathered into the MWCBoard because of los Utes heritage in the WAC/MtnWest.

However, this much bigger reach.  Nothing says “West Coast Sports” like Florida, West VA, Ohio & Iowa.

CSU’s conf goes West from Laramie, Ft Fun, Colo Spgs & The ABQ all the way to the West Coast: San Diego, FresNo & San Jose.

Where as, B-Young’s conf Goes East [away from the West Conf] from SLC, Provo, The PHX & Tucson.

No matter how you slice it, the BXII is NOT a “West Coast Conf"

Dude. stick with one handle is my thought. I’ve never seen the logic around multiple handles.  But you do you.

BTW, this board is for everyone. The people you are scolding have been here a long time. They also voted to open this board up as a Western Hybrid board so folks like you would come here.

So put your traffic cop badge away and relax.

Those two are Pac in name only.  Either the Pac reverse merges with the MWC and keeps the Pac name or those Pac2 schools join the MWC.  Should know more by the end of June 2025 at the latest.

And will geography matter when you sell the naming rights like the Big 12, MWC, AAC, CUSA, and perhaps others are looking at right now?

Just the new reality these days similar to the new reality of this board.

Just kick back and relax.

What is happening at BYU is unprecedented. Apparently we are being accused tampering by some of the blue bloods we beating on recruiting.

what are your thoughts Utesnational. Is Ryan Smith tampering by throwing money at these kids.

We wont face one team with more talent than us all season. And we are in the best basketball conference in the country.

One or two of these top 100 recruits are going to be riding the bench most of the season. Now it makes sense why Waterman a starter was told to move on. Louisville sign him. Apparently our left overs now move on to the Louisville.

It looks like our feeder program might end up being the Utes. Prove your self in Salt Lake and you can move on to Provo if you are good enough.
