Well, if Trump is elected again it's game over. Between the extreme polarization in this country and his desire to burn it all to the ground there will be no coming back. It will all be a bunch of independent states like Europe. Imagine it: the party of Lincoln accomplishes what the South couldn't do in the first civil war. And without any shots fired.

The worst thing he will do that most people don't realize is utterly defang the EPA, OSHA, and any other federal agencies that put a check on big business, protect worker rights, protect the environment, protect against waste/fraud/abuse, etc.   He'll also defund the IRS, and bankrupt the country even further.  Even the taxes that must be paid won't be collected, because IRS won't have the resources to chase anyone except extremely poor people.

He will also reclassify federal workers so he can fire whomever he wants and fill those positions with his people. Which would essentially corrupt all government.

#1, they're not true christians.  They're transactional capitalist "christians".  @KUGRDON knows, the true savior is the U.S. dollar.  And Trump happens to worship the true savior.

#2, they anticipated Roe being overturned, the pastors mobilized the votes (despite the requirement that churches not mix religion/politics in order to retain tax-exempt status), and, you know, sexism.  Ain't nothing worse than some uppity lady who laughs weird.  Not even a serial rapist, fraudster, racist, and insurrectionist.  Hell, those are features, not bugs.

That probably won't be necessary. Uncle Thomas' lifetime goal has been to make neuters out of as many regulatory agencies as possible. His has long argued that Congress has unconstitutionally delegated much of its power to them and his rationale as I understand it is Scalia's original intent doctrine. As in that any administrative agency which did not exist at the time of the writing of the Constitution couldn't have been envisioned by the Founders. Scalia was, and Thomas remains, coo-coo for Cocoa Puffs but at least four of the conservatives are certain to defer to him.

i mean they bought him the gun and knew he had mental problems...they were arguably as responsible for that school massacre as the deranged larry sellers looking fuck son of theirs who shot the school up. frankly they should get life w/o parole and the kid should get the firing squad as a sort of poetic justice

Because they’re not mentally developed and have diminished capacity.   Similar to you.   That’s also why we also don’t execute children, and why we shouldn’t try them as adults.
