Orange
WHEN will the Beavers FINISH the other half of Reser? Probably when we consistently fill the first half. 2-5 is no fun to watch.

MrBug708
Most fans seem underwhelmed by the plans, but it'll be a pretty big revenue stream
All Hail
USC is only spending half of what Cal spent on it's renovation.
Bison
At least USC won't be as broke as Cal.
EastCoastFan
Wasn't most of Cal's $$$ for "renovation" really sucked up by earthquake prevention? Does USC face the same dollar focus for structural stability?

Does USC face the same dollar focus for structural stability? I wouldn't say most but a decent amount went towards structural integrity. LA has fault lines too you know

utenation
Just saw this on Twitter...what's coming to Corvallis? Haven't you heard? Since CU now has "the best facilities in the country" which is apparently a "game changer", all other P12 schools will have to re-do their current facilities even if they are in good shape just to keep up with powerhouse CU. I think Utah is tearing down their bran new football facility and taking a tour of CU's new duds just to see where we went wrong and start from scratch...
Nakedmolerat
Just saw this on Twitter...what's coming to Corvallis? Update to the Valley Football Center. That is the building you see at the end of the north endzone, under the gay rainbow. Details here.
Bison
Update to the Valley Football Center. That is the building you see at the end of the north endzone, under the gay rainbow. Details here. I like what they are going to do with the baseball stadium. As for that endzone, will they be putting in new seats or not? Nakedmolerat
I think the end zone seats will remain but the building will take up some of the previous space, so there will be fewer in that section.
Bison
Reason why I was asking since CU had those old aluminum style seats in the north endzone and they were replaced with chairback seats and loge seating. I was wondering if OSU could go down that path.
Nakedmolerat
They have loge boxes on the east side (the new side) and I believe there are plans for loge boxes on the to-be-determined potential, possible in the future west side renovation as well. My guess is when the west side is done, it will be a giant grand stand without luxury boxes or premium seating since those are hardly selling out now. But, then again, by the time the renovation is back on the table, perhaps OS is winning more.
RogueDuck
Hayward Field will be getting a makeover. http://www.kezi.com/news/Track_Fans_React_to_Hayward_Field_Renovation_Plan_.html
duckfandan
Reportedly, the project will triple the current seating of Hayward.
Orange
Crazy. I remember horsing around under the east grand stands on all the mats during our middle school meets. Hayward done growed up on us.
Quack 12
I probably shouldn't admit it, but one particularly inebriated evening I crawled under the plywood box that covered the pole vault pad and slept there. I crawled out at about 7 a.m., and a bunch of track athletes were already out there practicing. It was pretty embarrassing escaping Hayward that morning. Orange
I grew up in Eugene and spent 5 years of schooling at UO between undergrad and law school there. As much as I am jaded toward the UO and its fans and culture, I've always been an unwavering admirer of Hayward Field and the UO track program. It's really cool how that juggernaut has put Eugene on the T&F map, not just in the U.S., but now the world.
