Scscsc89 Posted December 2, 2021 Posted December 2, 2021 After a flurry of de-commitments, USC is currently ranked #104th -- with only four commits left over from Helton. https://247sports.com/college/usc/Season/2022-Football/Commits/ There is an over/under game going on whether any of these four actually end up signing with the Trojans. Offensive line is a HUGE need.
Mano Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 I am guessing Riley brings a bunch of guys. USC will be fine recruiting, as they always are.
Scscsc89 Posted December 3, 2021 Author Posted December 3, 2021 Listened to a podcast that made the argument that the early signing period in mid-December is unnecessarily leading to this crazy coaching carrousel where Kelly is having to leave his Notre Dame players even though they still have (had) a shot at the playoffs. The suggestion was they move the early signing period to August or September which would really encourage most players to play their senior high school seasons & sign in early Feb like before.
MrBug708 Posted December 12, 2021 Posted December 12, 2021 UCLA trying to land Dillion Gabriel, the UCF transfer from Florida. He looks really electric.
Trojan209 Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 We landed Domani. Looks like he was all set to go to Bama until Riley kept Donte on staff. Sometimes it just takes that one recruiter to keep a kid. Domani Jackson to USC
Scscsc89 Posted December 18, 2021 Author Posted December 18, 2021 I think it might have helped us that Eli Ricks transferred to Bama earlier in the week.

MrBug708 Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 Finalists were SJSU, Arizona, and the Ville. CJ Williams picked USC over UCLA, I guess, but it was the worst kept secret that he was going to USC. Not sure why he bothered to put a UCLA hat there other than optics...lol
azgreg Posted January 14, 2022 Posted January 14, 2022 When it's all said and done we won't finish here but you've got to be impressed with the work Fisch and company have put in this of season.
MrBug708 Posted January 14, 2022 Posted January 14, 2022 They seem to be ahead of the NIL curve in conference
Scscsc89 Posted January 15, 2022 Author Posted January 15, 2022 How many spots could Arizona possibly have left?

It was my understanding that at the beginning of this class we hade 23 spots avail for recruits and up to 7 spots for transfers. Those are all spoken for. Between recruits, transfers, and walk-ons we've added about 40 players.
