I'm surprised nobody is talking about the murder case in which Aaron Hernandez is a suspect/person of interest.  The victim was seen on surveillance video in Hernandez' neighborhood with Hernandez and other friends hours before he died.  The victim was found with a bullet in his head in an industrial park near Hernandez' home.  Hernandez destroyed his cell phone and his home security system (including all digital recordings) in the hours following the murder.  Hernandez arranged for a professional cleaning service to clean his home on the day the victim was found.  He will soon be arrested for obstruction of justice in connection with the destroyed cell phone and surveillance system.

In a separate action, Hernandez is being sued in civil court for allegedly shooting another man in the face causing the putative victim to lose an eye.

I haven't been watching ESPN.  Is this getting alot of coverage?

I saw this on CNN and Fox News so it's apparently a big deal.  I don't read much into stories like this since people and the media are so quick to convict people of any wrongdoing through the media.

Check out the plans, supposedly approved, for the new Atlanta Falcons stadium.

Isn't the Georgia Dome only 20 years old or so?

Yeah I don't get it either...I was thinking why not another 10-20 years then build a new stadium?  I'd blame this on the new Cowboys and Giants/Jets stadiums which could usher in another stadium building or upgrading boom when the public money would be better spent elsewhere.  The money spent on basketball/hockey arenas and baseball stadiums tend to be well worth it when it comes to cost and the number of games.  NFL stadiums on the other hand...

Looks like a NFC West rivalry is cooking between the 49ers and Seahawks.  This is good stuff for the NFC West especially after the Seahawks switched over from the AFC West years ago.

That is why I am preachng patience to myself and other Pac-12 fans so they would give CU and Utah time to find their footing within the conference and then build rivalries.

Would the AFC and NFC West divisions be a good guide to building rivalries in the Pac-12 or not?
