    Yea I just reject any analogy that compares modern day Russia to Nazi Germany. Modern day Russia is incapable of conquering all of Europe. So yea, again, I’m not really sure what officially annexing Transnistria would do for Russia since they already effectively control it.

    Yea that’s just a feckless way of saying you don’t want the embargo to be lifted. A stance of “give us money and then we’ll talk” is unreasonable.

    No I didn’t take that as you saying it would or should happen, just that it likely could; I’m just saying I really hope something like that doesn’t happen. I’m thinking UCD moving up is just contingent on the TV deal making it at least $/school neutral.

    That would be a horrible start to the MWC-UC Davis relationship. Hope the MWC doesn’t pull any slimy shit like that.

    Interesting. This tells me that UCD wants to move up, and it is more the MWC telling them to hold off. If I had to guess, the MWC wanted UCD because they wanted to strengthen their presence in CA, but they don’t want UCD to move up right now if it reduces the per school payout. Because otherwise the first clause makes no sense. If UCD actually wasn’t ready right now, the MWC adding an FCS school won’t change that.

    Hey Mike, if you get to read this just know that even though I got into it with you on a lot of topics I strongly disagreed with you on, I always did honestly like you. I really appreciated you saying what you believed without sugarcoating it. I’ll miss you on here man.
