Why not accumulate wealth in a 1/4 of the time at a P2 school as you could at a G6. Loyalty still exists but it’s becoming a rarity. Coaches have become mercenaries and are trying to cash in, which is why fans shouldn’t ever get too attached to any coach. Some on social media are saying Odom left because UNLV didn’t make the jump to the PAC which is completely asinine. That had absolutely nothing to do with it. If OSU (and by virtue the PAC) was so great then Jonathan Smith wouldn’t have left his GD alma mater last year to go coach in East Lansing.

Odom has proven you don’t need a known “name”. I trust Harper not to go that route with this hire, as well.
