  1. I thank you guys from the bottom of my heart for all the love and support you've given me. I've been truly blessed. I love you guys. I really & truly do.
  2. 1. Reno off of Mt. Rose Hwy (Clear Favorite) 2. Western Fort Collins 3. Hays, KS 4. Denver Hays was boring, but the wildlife was cool and the weather exciting in a good and bad way. I had 8 tornadoes come within a few miles of my house over 5 years.
  3. Coda, the yawning Vox kitty.
  4. This is an H-Hrame structure near Billings, MT. It's amazing how some wires stay in the air despite not much wood left to support the tension. It was struck by lightning, and that's what removed the wood at the through-bolt. The poll bent and acted with compression coming down and that's the force that's kept it in the air.
  5. This is a police line up of the infamous Mullard EL34 xf1 power tube that were in old Marshall's. You can see the silver getter flashing that picks up impurities in the vacuum over time,,,it gets used up. Current mA is usually not affected by aging unless the anode completey wears ou t.
  6. I used to race jet skis and my sponsor what Jetcraft Engineering in Lake Havasu City, AZ. Here's a picture a jet ski magazine took of my sponsor speed testing my ski on an early winter morning. Cold dry air equals more horsepower. It weighed about 270Lbs and the 750cc 2 stroke put out about 128 horsepower on the bench. You can get amazing horsepower per cc with 2 stroke motors. They weren't that clean, so that's the down side to them. My ski went from 0 to 60 in no time at all. No gears to shift, just all throttle. The ported cylinders would almost dislocate your shoulders if your weren't ready for the kick they produced. This was around 1996, about the peak of stand up racing. Around 1992 to 1993 was the dead center peak. It's started to go downhill because they brought in sit down watercraft to race because more were being sold than stand ups. But it killed the sport. Too much boring racing. Now that 4 strokes are taking over, stand up racing is slowly making a comeback. I sure do miss it. It's was my life for about 5 years.
  7. This is a big power 230kV power transformer being delivered to one of our substations in Reno. In fact, come to think of it, it's probably a 345kV. They're so heavy that it requires a rig that size to move it. When you design a substation, you want at least one driveway that's 5% or less grade so the low boy truck doesn't get caught up trying to get in. You also have to make sure a clear path works in your design because you obviously don't want any problems.
  8. Just a darling pic of baby Biscuit. She was a stray living in the bushes at Nevada Power where I was working and I set up a trap and got her. She was loving right away despite being born feral.
  9. My mom and dad with the grandkids (sister).
  10. First house I ever owned, 1998, Las Vegas.
  11. Me being a dork at what I think is my 25th HS reunion.
  12. My two old cats, Biscuit and Coda. Loved them so much.
  13. Me and my buddy Ronnie Moulder in 7th Grade at Monroe Jr. High. I'm on the right. His nickname was Super Flea as his shirt states. This would've been around 1977.
  14. I grew up listening to the Carpenters, and although it was my sugar pop side, I still loved the heavy stuff. But I was completely blown away by them, and was a bit obseesed with Karen's singing perfection and a great person. I was so so sad when she died in 1983, and I met a guy that grew up next to them. I was so curious what music was chosen to be important enough to be at her funeral by her family and brother. So he had an original program from the service, and it was so important for me to hear this music from the heart from the family. Just another odd thing about me.... I loved the Carpenters, mostly up to 1976. The Carpenters Horizon is sonically the best recorded, engineered, arranged and produced album of all time. Try listening to it in 24/96 .flac file resolution. Solitaire is the best song, by far.
  15. My beloved 1968 Marshall 100W Super Lead Purple Plexi Half Stack Sorry guys, music has been my life.
